The Recruitment Marketing service was born out of necessity. At Mawazo we needed to hire applicants fast in a difficult labour market where many companies were vying for the same jobseekers.
We established a marketing approach to announce vacancies, as shown on
this page on our website. It's a long form sales letter with videos which was advertised for
one week on all relevant recruitment platforms and attracted
more than 100 applicants between 23 and 26 December 2021.
Applicants were asked to complete ten questions, which included open and multiple-choice questions, audio and video recording, spreadsheet manipulation etc.
There is even a simple DISC personality test which we use to review if a candidate’s personality matches the needs of the position and the team.
Our AI-supported recruitment platform (a software partnerships) allowed us to screen these applicants efficiently and qualified ten applicants which we invited for an interview.
We were able to hire Kristelle within 2 weeks of her application from a pool of more than 100 applicants, over the Christmas and New Year period in 2021!
